Bukkehave received an order from PAE Government Services in 2007 for 300 Chrysler Dodge Charger Police Vehicles to support the Internal Security Forces of the Lebanese government. The US Embassy donated these vehicles to Lebanon to show their support towards the political crisis
PAE selected Bukkehave because of the confidence they had in the company’s ability to meet the strict deadlines for deliver, the quality of the vehicle and the terms and conditions of the contract. PAE were also considering selecting the Ford Crown Victory Police Car so Bukkehave was in an extremely competitive situation.
PAE opted for a police package conversion from Bukkehave; which is a conversion to a basic police vehicle, including speaker, microphone and siren system. mounted light bar and changes to the interior to avoid wear and tear.
To ensure customer satisfaction Bukkehave phyically conducted vehicle inspections with Canfield before they were shipped.
PAE provided a very tight deadline, as a quick turnaround time was required due to the political instability within Lebanon during this period. Bukkehave proposed a delivery schedule that was agreed by PAE. On April 2008 Bukkehave promised to deliver 102 of the 300 vehicles, however, a total of 188 vehicles were shipped by this time.
The US ambassador in Lebanon presided over the vehicle donation ceremony on 5 June 2008 to formally donate the Police Vehicles provided by Bukkehave to the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of the Lebanese Government.
PAE were very pleased with the whole process and the final outcome:
“PAE Government Services purchased 300 Chrysler Dodge Charger Police Vehicles from Bukkehave Inc. to support Internal Security Forces of the Lebanese Government on behalf of the Department of State. The delivery process was efficient, and we received all that was promised. We would consider purchasing additional products in the future.”
Due to the success of this order and on the merits of past performance, PAE have placed an additional order for another 120 Dodge Charger Police Vehicles with Bukkehave Inc. There is an election taking place in Lebanon in mid June and therefore a fast turnaround time on the vehicles has been requested by PAE.
