Our extensive experience in logistical arrangements by sea, air, road and rail ensures that the goods are delivered when and where you need them.
We have an entire department exclusively devoted to ensuring that shipping and customs papers are in order, and we are familiar with the labyrinth of red tape of local customs formalities.
Thorough documentation
As soon as your order is confirmed we begin to process the paperwork, from a simple packing list to a complete portfolio of transport documents.
Dangerous goods documents, certificates of origin, and certificates of insurance may be required, but you can leave this all up to us.
Check before departure
Before your order is shipped, we are able to make a thorough pre-delivery inspection and secure it against theft and shipping damage.
We keep you posted
Along the way, both unpredictable and ruthless threats may crop up, and these require co-ordination and follow-up from our side, along with confidence in our suppliers.
We cannot control all conditions, but we do keep you posted along the way.
PRE-SHIPMENT PREPARATION AND INSPECTION
We are able to offer you different levels of preparations, and to have your order inspected by an international inspection company prior to shipment.
Contact your local Bukkehave sales representative to determine the solution that fit your order best.

Ordinary Preparation

This preparation includes a thorough wash of the vehicle after removing the protective layer of plastic. Furthermore, a mechanical check is carried out, e.g. checking for oil, water, brake fluid and windshield wash.

General Preparation

We secure the vehicle to prevent the removal of loose components (e.g. mirrors, neck rests and lighter) during shipment, ensuring that the vehicle is ready to roll when it arrives. These components are secured in a locked box, and the wheels are locked using special nuts.
The key for the padlock will for safety reasons be sent along with your shipping documents and the spare keys for the vehicle(s).

Inspection
|
 |
During inspection an impartial inspection company (eg. Lloyds, SGS, Cotecna or Bureau Veritas) makes a random check on the vehicles, and subsequently seals them up.
