Key Account Manager Mads Genefke first visited a large mining project in Liberia in early 2007. He followed the development of the mine and was a part of their decision-making process, providing information to their technical teams.
After ordering some 4x4 project vehicles from Bukkehave in 2007, another order was placed in April 2008, but we had a tight timeframe for delivery.
The requirement was for 10 Iveco dump trucks, and they needed them 'yesterday'. Six units of 6x6 dump trucks were converted in Europe to suit their requirements, and were delivered in early May. A further four units of 6x4 dump trucks left from Dubai for delivery to the site in early June.
"Bukkehave was chosen as the supplier because we understood their project and their requirements. We had the right products, and with the support of the truck team our logistics team could promise fast delivery," said Mads.
"Another bonus for the client was that our service partner, No Lemon, can take care of the service and maintenance of the trucks from their workshop in Liberia."
